We install every kind of wallpaper — and because we're painters and drywall finishers first, the substrate under the paper is prepped like a Level 5 wall. Grasscloth telegraphs a bad wall in a way paint never will. We fix the wall before we hang the paper.
Every type of wallpaper
Traditional pasted papers, peel-and-stick residential lines, grasscloth and other natural fibers, hand-printed murals, and heavy commercial vinyl. We've hung all of them. Each one asks for a different substrate, a different adhesive, and a different pattern-matching approach.
Substrate prep is where wallpaper jobs live or die
A wallpaper job is only as good as the wall under it. We skim patches, prime with a proper wallpaper primer, and — for grasscloth or thinner papers — sometimes tint the primer close to the paper color so seams disappear. That's the drywall-finisher's advantage on a wallpaper install.
