Most interior paint jobs fail on prep, not paint. We caulk the trim, spackle the nail holes, sand the runs from the last painter, prime the patches, and only then start putting color on the wall. The result reads properly from six inches — the distance your eye actually judges a paint job from.
How we approach a repaint
Every interior repaint starts with a room-by-room walk-through: what stays, what moves, what needs patching, and what sheen is going where. We caulk gaps in trim, spackle every fastener, sand runs from prior work, and prime patches so they don't flash under the finish coat.
Walls get two coats. Trim and doors get sprayed off-site or masked and sprayed in place — never brushed as a substitute for a proper spray finish where a spray finish belongs.
The trim work is where you notice
Base, casing, crown, doors — trim is the part of a paint job your eye is closest to. Roller-stippled trim reads as amateur immediately. We spray the trim and doors so the finish is flat and consistent, then cut the walls to the trim with a line you could measure.
Latex or oil — matched to the job
Trim that gets kicked and doors that get slammed need harder enamels than walls do. We spec the right product for each surface and tell you why — a scrubbable matte on walls, a hard waterborne enamel on trim and doors, an oil where the substrate really calls for it. Product choice is where a paint job lives or dies at the two-year mark.

Furniture moved to the center of each room and wrapped. Floors covered with heavy paper or drop cloths. Outlets and switches removed, painted and re-installed clean. Two coats of premium paint on walls. Trim and doors sprayed or rolled per spec. Final walk-through with you, punch list closed before we leave.
